Editorial policy

United Current Affairs aims to explain public questions clearly, fairly and with the limits of each account in view. Our editorial choices are made for readers seeking understanding, not for an undisclosed outside interest.

Accuracy and context

We take care to distinguish established information, attributed claims and interpretation. Articles should give readers enough context to understand who is speaking, what a claim concerns and what remains unsettled. We do not imply that an explanation replaces checking current official information where a reader needs it.

Independence and labelling

Editorial coverage is kept distinct from paid or partner material. Any sponsored contribution or partnership content we accept is labelled clearly so readers can tell its nature. A commercial relationship does not entitle a partner to present material as independent editorial coverage.

Corrections

If a reader identifies a factual error, they can contact us with the relevant article and passage. We review specific, substantiated concerns and correct material when warranted, making the change clear enough that readers can understand what was amended.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where relevant, we identify them as AI-generated and do not present an illustration as documentary evidence of a real event.
